In his current role, Hugh is involved in several industry organisations including the steering group for the Business Leaders’ Health and Safety Forum, the Auckland Branch Committee of Civil Contractors NZ and as an Advisory Board Member for Enterprise Ireland locally in New Zealand.

Simon is a native of Ireland with a degree from Nottingham Trent University. Before he moved to New Zealand, he was employed with the Chief State Solicitor’s Office in Dublin. He was later assigned to work with the Criminal Assets Bureau where he focused on proceeds of crime prosecutions and extradition.

Rory is a Director and South Island Manager of Prendos New Zealand Limited. In September 2020 Prendos Christchurch marked its 10th anniversary.

Dubliners Gary & Karen arrived in New Zealand with their family in 2012.  They decided their new town needed a watering hole and eatery which would remind them of home, a little piece of Ireland in Methven. The result of their efforts is The Dubliner, a multi-award winning Irish Bar & Restaurant in Methven Mt Hutt. 

Nigel is the Innovation Sales Manager at Alltech NZ, the global animal health and nutrition business founded by Irish entrepreneur, the late Dr Pearse Lyons. Alltech has made significant global investments in sustainable agriculture, including a research facility in New Zealand that improves the precision of carbon footprinting at a farm level.

 Fiona  of Deehan Leadership Collaborative, a Cork woman based in Christchurch for the last 11 years, works with workplace and community leaders, small business owners and professionals to help them realise their potential and bring their best selves to what they do so that their people can thrive and their businesses and organisations can flourish.

Mark and Karen own and operate the Riverview Motel in Whanganui. Karen from West Cork and Kiwi Mark from Wanganui, settled back in his hometown after a few years living in Bantry where Karen comes from.
